An apartment can give you quality accommodation, independence and the best ‘value for money’. Seven nights or more is the best buy but you can hire for a short break with a minimum of 3 nights. The most expensive period is June, July and August, which are not the most popular golfing months. The examples below are (1) Luxury apartments close to the beach at Puerto Duquesa. (2) An Apartment Hotel at Puerto Banus, Marbella.

Luxury Apartments: Frontline beach 2 and 3 bedroom apartment complex with direct access to the beach and walking distance to the marina. Here you will find plenty of nice bars and restaurants, bank, supermarket and retail outlets. The complex has 24-hour security, reception area, 4 swimming pools (one heated), sauna, gym and underground car park. All apartments have pool and sea views and are furnished to a very high standard with a large terrace; they have Sky TV, air conditioning and a fully fitted kitchen.

La Duquesa golf course is hilly with lovely scenic views of both mountains and the blue Mediterranean Sea. It has five par 3s, eight par 4s, and five par 5s, with two small man-made lakes. The fairways are kept in good shape, and the greens in excellent condition. The course is challenging for the low handicap golfer, but remains friendly to mid and higher handicap players. |

La Canada is by Robert Trent Jones, who also designed Valderrama. Later Dave Thomas extended the course. The greens are immaculate with subtle borrows; there is substantial woodland, the ravine (Cañada) on the 18th gives the course its name. The terrain is not flat but the slopes are gentle, it can be windy. (5235 metres, Par: 71)

Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club is set amongst the Ronda Hills, it was designed by Seve Ballesteros. This imaginative course will appeal to attacking golfers, and reward bold strokes. The main focus is on accuracy and direction rather than length so club selection is important. The setting is tranquil and there are wonderful views down to the Mediterranean. It is a good challenge for all levels of golfer. (5843 metres, Par: 72) |

Alcaidesa Links Golf Club is the only links course in the South of Spain and offers players an unforgettable experience. It has magnificent views of Gibraltar and the Atlas Mountains of North Africa. Gorse, heather, sand dunes, ponds and deep bunkers make Alcaidesa similar to some Scottish courses - only warmer! (5846 metres, par 72) |

Marbella Golf & C.C. has some steep ravines that do not allow for any lapse in concentration, even to enjoy the superb panoramic views. It is home of some of the finest holes in the south of Spain and has a clubhouse where the food is second to none. (5953 Metres, Par 72)

Almenara has 27 holes always in immaculate condition. The fairways run through cork oaks and wild pines accompanied by several meandering streams and natural lakes. Each course is different with a mixture of undulating fairways, deep bunkers and several water hazards making this a challenge for even the most accomplished golfer.
