 Arrive England collect car, drive to Lifeboat Inn, Thornham. Play Hunstanton, it has superb views and the presentation of the links is excellent. The fairways are well defined, the large greens first class and the bunkers are consistent and well maintained. The course is long enough to provide a real test but not out of reach for high handicap players. (6180 metres, Par 72, SSS 73) |

Play 36 holes at Royal West Norfolk, it is an exciting links that lays down a true challenge for the amateur golfer. It is not until approaching the turn and beyond, namely the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th, that the true greatness of the course can be recognised. It is a run of exciting and mischievous holes that cannot be surpassed. (5904 metres, Par 71, SSS 71) |

 Play Sheringham Golf Club, it was formed in 1891, it is laid out on the west side of the town on a strip of rolling, gorse-clad cliff top overlooking the North Sea. Noted for its long par 4 holes it is a severe test of players' ability, especially when the wind blows. |

The Lifeboat Inn has been receiving guests since the 16th Century and its original character has been carefully preserved throughout. All of the 14 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and most have views over Thornham harbour to the sea. Tea & coffee making facilities, televisions, hair dryers, telephones, and warm pine furniture complete the comfort of these bedrooms. Some travel miles for a huge bowl of steaming mussels, (available in season) hand picked from beds nearby or for a very special plate of fish and chips with its crisp ale beer batter – two of the most popular dishes from the extensive bar menu. Some prefer to select from the day’s specials board, based on what’s been caught, shot, picked or dug locally each day. Others choose to enjoy a three course meal in the full service restaurant accompanied by wine from an interesting and imaginative list.
