First Class 3 or 4 star hotels in select tour itinerary.
The Golf Inn — situated, as it is, in the heart of Gullane in East Lothian, surrounded by some of Scotland’s best known and most exciting golf courses, is without doubt the perfect place to stay. The upstairs lounge, with its roaring open fire, is exclusively for the use of residents. In our downstairs lounge, morning coffee and bar lunches are served. The public bar also gives you the chance to catch up with the “caddy news” and meet old and new friends. The kitchen is under the personal supervision of Chef Neil Wright and his cuisine is not to be missed.
Enjoy Neil’s extensive and exciting choice of ever changing menus, ranging through locally sourced beef, fish and seafood, making “dining-in” a pleasure. Our lounge bar serves morning coffee and lunches, not to mention an almost inexhaustible selection of Single Malt Whiskies ranging from well-known favorites to some of the rarest Scottish Isles have to offer. The public bar, stocked with fine ales, lagers and spirits, boasts an open fire, large screen satellite television and a full-length wall display of golf memorabilia and trophies.
Scores Hotel — Situated only yards from the first tee of the Old Course at St. Andrews, the Scores Hotel commands magnificent views of St. Andrews Bay and the historic clubhouse of the Royal and Ancient. Adjacent is the British Golf Museum while the town of St. Andrews, which represents a veritable treasure trove of one thousand years of Scottish heritage, is just a short walk away. The hotel occupies two former fashionable townhouses, which date back to 1880, giving guests a palpable sense of history and tradition. Each of the Scores Hotel’s 30 bedrooms is en-suite and offers a full range of modern facilities.
Many guestrooms have panoramic sea views, while others command views over the hotel gardens. A choice of bars includes the aptly named Scorecard Bar, which is adorned with golfing memorabilia including a collection of cards from championships played over the Old Course by some of the game’s legends. Though a selection of fresh local seafood, for which the East Neuk of Fife is renowned, features strongly in the award winning Alexander’s Restaurant, the menus offer a wide range of traditional Scottish and international cuisine. The coffee shop at Scores Hotel, which provides an excellent course-side vantage point, serves breakfast and snacks throughout the day.
