Magnolia Tour Itinerary

Suggested itinerary commencing April 7th - April 12th, 2010

 

Wed. 7th

Depart chosen airport to Columbus, South Carolina

Following your arrival at Columbia Airport, and for your own ease, please make your own way to your hotel. A taxi transfer will take approx 15 minutes. Twin/Double Accommodation is reserved for five nights including breakfast at the Radisson Hotel, 2,100 Bush River Road Columbia. SC. Evening at leisure, with the opportunity to meet other members of the tour.

 

Thu. 8th

Woodlands Golf & Country Club.

After breakfast we depart for Woodlands Golf & Country Club where tee times are reserved with buggies. Green Fees included). We return to the hotel early evening prior to a visit to the social life at Five Points with its plentiful supply of restaurants, bars and entertainment.

 

Fri. 9th

Mid Morning we make the journey to Aiken.

Aiken is home to the horse racing Hall of Fame and Woodside Plantations 'The Reserve' golf course. In 2003 this course was voted 8th in the top ten of new American courses by Golf Digest. Here we have a 13.30 Shot Gun start, (Green Fees included), following our competition we have an early evening buffet before returning to Columbia.

 

Sat. 10th

Today we visit Augusta for the third round of the US Masters

We depart Columbia early morning to arrive at Washington Road by 8:30hrs where we visit our hospitality facility. The "1018 Club" on Azalea Drive. Here we are able to enjoy breakfast and hospitality including a complimentary bar throughout the day. The 1018 Club is situated no more than 200 yards from the main gate of the Augusta National golf course. Spend as much time at the golf course as you wish returning for drinks at The 1018 Club prior to departing early evening for Columbia.

 

Sun. 11th

We start our day at The 1018 Club for breakfast.

Hospitality is available throughout the day. Today is the final day of the US Masters. Enjoy what is always a sensational climax, spend time in the Augusta shop where all products with the famous logo are available at very reasonable prices. Remember those commemorative gifts for friends back home. Following the presentation of the Green Jacket we have time for our final fare wells at The 1018 Club prior to travelling back to Columbia.

 

Mon. 12th

Today is left free for any last minute shopping you may have.

Return journey home, arriving at your selected airport.

We depart the hotel at 09.30 for the short journey to Oak Hills Golf Club. Tee times are reserved along with Buggies. Today’s round is played with the club’s members and a post match buffet is provided.

We return to the Radisson late afternoon with the evening being free to visit downtown Columbia’s night spots.

After breakfast we visit Woodlands Golf & Country Club

Tee times are reserved with Buggies.

After golf we travel back to our hotel in time for early evening meetings before planning an evening in Columbia’s downtown area which offers nightlife with Bars and many restaurants’.

 

Mon. 5th

Today we visit Augusta for the first practice round of the 2009 US Masters.

We depart Columbia early morning to arrive at Washington Road by 9:30hrs where we are able to experience the unique atmosphere surrounding golf’s most prestigious event. Spend as much time at the golf course as you wish before returning to our coach for the journey back to Columbia.

The Augusta shop is huge with clothing and memorabilia with the famous Augusta logo all at reasonable prices, don’t forget your envious friends back home.

 

Tue. 6th

Today’s golf is arranged at Wood Creek Golf & Country Club

We depart from the Radisson at 10.00 for Oak Hills Golf & Country Club where tee times are arranged with buggies for our party.

The Club House hosts our post match presentation and social gathering celebrating a memorable visit to the deep south, Augusta and the 2010 US Masters.

 

Wed. 7th

Today is left free for any last minute shopping you may have.

Return journey home, arriving at your selected airport.
